Beautiful outdoor gardens, Strong coffee and refreshments in rooms, Historic charm of the inn
Rooms might benefit from an update in decor, especially with older furnishings!!! Slightly inconsistent water temperature in the shower could be an inconvenience. Late night entry guidelines need clarity!!!

Would recommend for a weekend vacation
Friendly pub, clean room with a comfy bed, and a fantastic breakfast. We loved the pleasant decor and the extra toiletries provided in the decent bathroom. The free parking made it easy to explore the area.
All good.

Charming stay with tasty breakfast
We had a cozy stay in a twin room. The breakfast was hot and came with a smile, which made our morning! The pub had loads of character, really loved that vibe. Only wished the shower had better water pressure, though. a fun spot to unwind and enjoy good food.

great service but not quite perfect
The staff were incredibly helpful during our stay and went above and beyond in every interaction we had. The garden offered a stunning view which enhanced our experience and made it a lovely place to unwind.
The only downside was the noise from the nearby road which interrupted our peaceful stay.

Super friendly vibes!
Had a really nice stay! Staff were super welcoming and even had dinner ready when we arrived. The meals were tasty, and I loved the breakfast options. Plus, they brought an iron to our room while we were eating! Only thing was, parking could get a bit tight. But overall, great place!

Just a prime choice for a brief stopover in Newenden with exceptional value. The shower pressure in our room was surprisingly strong, making for a refreshing experience. Pack light as the stairs can be a bit tricky with larger bags.
